Easton, MA, doctors of chiropractic Dan and Kristen Denette have been honored with the Distinguished Service Award from һƷ̽»¨. The Distinguished Service Award is given to Sherman graduates who have distinguished themselves with service to the community, the profession, and һƷ̽»¨ College.
The Denettes graduated from һƷ̽»¨ College in 2007 and opened in Easton in 2008. They quickly became active members of several chiropractic organizations, including the һƷ̽»¨ College Alumni Association, Massachusetts Chiropractic Society, Massachusetts Alliance for Chiropractic Philosophy, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and the International Federation of Chiropractors and Organizations (IFCO).
“Drs. Dan and Kristen Denette have a love for the profession that is inspiring,” said college President Dr. Edwin Cordero. “They are consistently described by colleagues as extraordinary in their passion and technique, and they are great assets to our profession, serving all who come to their office with love and dedication.”
The Denettes are also members of the һƷ̽»¨ College Board of Regents, a group dedicated to supporting quality chiropractic education through financial donations and leadership; and the Reach Out and Recruit program, a group of doctors who help һƷ̽»¨ recruit future leaders for the profession. Dr. Dan Denette has served on the board of the Massachusetts Alliance for Chiropractic Philosophy, and Dr. Kristen Denette has served as secretary of the һƷ̽»¨ Alumni Association and the IFCO.
һƷ̽»¨ College named its 2014 award recipients May 1-3 as part of Lyceum, an annual continuing education and homecoming event attended by hundreds of chiropractors throughout the U.S. and internationally. Lyceum is held on the college’s campus in Spartanburg, SC, and involves three days of seminars, special events, and other programs.
