һƷ̽»¨ College offers scholarships to Miss america stat competition winners

Miss America Organization and һƷ̽»¨ College Partner to Offer Scholarship Awards

һƷ̽»¨ and The Miss America Organization have announced the renewal of a full chiropractic scholarship available to all candidates who will compete in the 2020 Miss America Competition.

һƷ̽»¨ College opens the door to the chiropractic profession for young women by annually donating a full-tuition scholarship to each of the 51 national candidates in the Miss America Organization. This award is available to any state competition winner within the Miss America Organization who advances to compete in the 2020 Miss America Competition.

The scholarship award consists of a full in-kind tuition waiver for the Doctor of Chiropractic degree, a total value of more than $119,000 per student.

“We are eager to reach more young leaders and share with them a health care career that embraces their commitment to serving others,” said һƷ̽»¨ College President Edwin Cordero, D.C., of the college’s partnership with the Miss America Organization. “I think it is especially fitting to join forces with an organization which shares our focus on service and our desire to make a positive global impact.”

The scholarship is the result of an ongoing partnership with the Miss America Organization through former Miss New Hampshire, Stephanie Mills, D.C., who attended chiropractic school herself through a scholarship she earned while competing at Miss America.

“We are incredibly grateful to Sherman for their generous support of women’s education,” said Miss America Organization’s President and CEO Regina Hopper. “This scholarship opportunity will enable future state titleholders like Dr. Mills to pursue a quality education and advance their careers in the chiropractic field.”

The Miss America Organization is proud to continue expanding scholarship opportunities awarded to its candidates each year and is pleased to partner with һƷ̽»¨ to provide quality education to the incredible young women who participate in the Miss America Organization.
